16 Jan 2023, IPR Awareness Program

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) workshops are organized to increase awareness and understanding of the various types of intellectual property and their value to individuals, businesses, and society. During these workshops, experts discuss the different types of intellectual property, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and their importance in various industries. Participants are educated on how to protect their intellectual property and how to respect the intellectual property of others. Additionally, participants learn about the legal framework for protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights, the process for obtaining patents and trademarks, and the potential benefits and challenges of licensing intellectual property. Overall, IPR workshops aim to promote innovation, creativity, and economic growth while protecting the rights of inventors, creators, and businesses.

20-21 Jan 2023, National Workshop on PCB Design & Fabrication

The PCB Design Workshop at Chartered Institute of Technology attracted professionals from various fields related to PCB design and provided a comprehensive overview of the latest techniques and trends. The first day focused on fundamentals, while the second day covered more advanced topics like Dip-Trace software, schematic and component footprint design, and PCB routing. The event was led by experienced instructors and offered valuable guidance and feedback to the participants, making it a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest techniques and trends in PCB design.

23-24 Dec 2022, FDP & Workshop on Transformer Design Techniques

The Transformer Design Workshop at Chartered Institute of Technology on December 23-24, 2022 was a successful event with attendees from institutes. The workshop included informative talks, interactive sessions, and practical workshops covering the fundamentals of transformer design, such as transformer theory, design principles, and materials selection, as well as advanced topics like design optimization, modeling, and practical winding of primary and secondary coils. The workshops were led by experienced instructors who provided valuable guidance and feedback. The event also featured a poster session for attendees to present their research and projects related to transformer design and network with other professionals. 22- 26 Dec. 2020, Applications of Robotics

The Robotics Workshop at Chartered Institute of Technology attracted robotics enthusiasts, students, and professionals. The five-day workshop covered basics such as kinematics and dynamics, as well as advanced topics like machine learning and computer vision. Attendees participated in hands-on workshops and built their own robots during the project work. The event also included a poster session for attendees to present their own research. 7-8 June 2019, FDP on Internet of things

In June 2019, a faculty development program focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) was held. Participants learned about the components of IoT and how they work together, as well as data analytics, security, and potential applications in various industries. The program included hands-on projects for practical experience. Overall, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of IoT and the skills needed to design and manage IoT solutions in their respective fields.

22-25 June 2018, FDP on Research Innovation in Technology

In June 2019, a faculty development program focused on the research innovation was held. Participants learned about the aspects and modern research areas and how one can foster in innovations. This FDP was mentored by prominent speakers from Singapore University, IIT, and NIT. The program included various key note speaker session for better exposure to research methods. Overall, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of research basics and the skills needed to design and develop innovative solution in their respective engineering fields.
